For some people it’s hard to track where their mind is focusing. Being aware of how you’re body is feeling is a direct indicator of where your mind is focusing. If your body is calm and relaxed, then it means your mind is calm and focusing on good things. There is no separation between the mind and the body. The goal is to find a calm, equanimous mind that can recognize the language of the physical body in a way that doesn’t react but instead notices. Then, acting accordingly to honor the process of the body and how to meet it’s needs can follow.
